Dolphin sighting

There have been several reports of a Dolphin swimming in both the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers.

Boats are out scanning the rivers around Philadelphia, looking for a dolphin.

The mammal was spotted by marine units at about 10:30 a.m., after sightings were first reported during the weekend around the Trenton area.

It's been reported in both the Delaware and Schuylkill rivers. Officials with the Marine Mammal Stranding Center are part of the search, as is the Philadelphia Police Marine Unit.

A report of the dolphin in the Schuylkill river came in at about 8 a.m.

In 2005, a beluga whale named Helis was spotted several time in both the Schuylkill and Delaware rivers.
