BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - May 29, 2012 (WPVI) -- Still looking for vacation ideas?
The Louisiana Office of Tourism is launching a website for visitors to sample the state's musical offerings and plan a music-themed vacation.
The site is www.LouisianaSoundtrack.com.
It has audio and video of music including jazz, Cajun and zydeco.
You can learn about the heritage and evolution of Louisiana music, and get information on venues and events showcasing that music.
The site also features listings and links to information about Louisiana's major music festivals, live music venues, historical music sites, recurring concert series and jam sessions.
