COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - July 25, 2012 (WPVI) -- Talk about a butter cake! The Ohio State Fair opens today.
Dairy officials are helping to celebrate the capital city's 200th birthday with a massive butter cake.
It's made with 2,400 sticks of butter and stands 6 feet high by 5 feet wide.
Cincinnati-based sculptors created the massive butter display, commissioned by the American Dairy Association.
It contains nearly a ton of butter and has carvings of Columbus landmarks like the Statehouse.
