Oregon (AP) - December 4, 2012 (WPVI) -- They're long dead giants.
And starting today, they're going to be planted.
The Archangel Ancient Tree Archive has been cloning the world's biggest redwoods and giant sequoias, including some cut down more than a century ago.
Co-founder David Milarch says 250 of the trees will be planted on a ranch on the southern Oregon Coast.
He says it's all part of campaign to combat global warming with some of the fastest growing trees.
