ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - April 10, 2006 -- There are plenty of ways to spend money in Atlantic City. But buying groceries isn't one of them.
Atlantic City's sole supermarket will close tomorrow.
The IGA store has marked down merchandise by 50 percent. Although many of the shelves are already bare.
A Thriftway at the same location closed in 2004.
Residents will have to travel to Ventnor to buy groceries.
