May 28, 2012 (WPVI) -- On Memorial Day we honor our service men and women who've paid the ultimate price for our country.
But many businesses honor our fighting forces every day, by offering special military discounts.
The money-saving site Brad's Deals has put together a list of more than 200 businesses that offer discounts to military members.
For example, Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy all offer a 10% discount on the first of each month to customers with military identification. Macy's offers the same discount on the first Tuesday of each month.
And at Boscov's, any day, shoppers with a valid military ID can take 15% off their in-store purchase.
A number of auto care stores also offer military deals.
Advance Auto Parts, Jiffy Lube, Midas and Pep Boys all offer 10% military discounts. Boston Market will take 20% off your order with a military ID and you can take 10% your meals at Popeye's or Hooters.
And if you're a service member looking for a little entertainment, you can see movies any time at a United Artist or Regal theater and just pay the matinee price with your identification.
Finally, Sesame Place, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens offer free admission for one military member and three direct dependents through their "Here's to the Heroes" program.
Here's the link to the Brad's Deals military discount list. Even if you don't see a business you patronize on that list, the deal-hunters at Brad's Deals say it can't hurt to show your military ID and ask.
Many businesses will offer military discounts, even if they don't advertise them.
