April 15, 2010 (WPVI) -- Lots of people love spring because of the warm weather. But bargain-hunters love spring because they know it's prime time for yard sales and garage sales.

Saving with 6abc has made it even easier to save time and money while picking up great garage sale deals.

Jennifer Gregory is a self-proclaimed garage sale addict who can hit as many as 20 sales in a single Saturday. Saving with 6abc found Jennifer in Wayne, at a sale that was in Karen Grossman's garage. Karen's house is up for sale and she's trying to get rid of things she doesn't want to move.

Karen's held several past sales -- and lowers her prices each time. So now, shoppers can pick up books three for $1, lamps for $1 -- or an entire box of Christmas ornaments for $3.

Karen put price tags on her items -- but says she's definitely willing to negotiate.

In addition to using price tags and being flexible, the key to having a successful garage sale is getting the word out.
