An image of the stolen, wheelchair-accessible van that was stolen in Philadelphia's Wynnefield section earlier this week.

Police are trying to track down the thieves who stole a family's van need for a relative with ALS.

The van was taken sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning from the 6000 block of Drexel Road in Philadelphia's Wynnefield section, according to police.

The van, a 1995 Chevy J-20 sports conversion model, is blue-green in color. It has been equipped with a hydraulic lift.

Anyone with information or who might have spotted the van is asked to call the Philadelphia 19th police district offices at (215) 686-3190.
