Thieves attempt to rob Margate ATM machine

MARGATE, N.J. - May 25, 2011 (WPVI) -- Police in Margate, Atlantic County are investigating the attempted robbery of an ATM overnight.

It happened at about 3:00 Wednesday morning at the Cape Bank on Ventnor Avenue.

Police tell Action News that the thieves attempted to break into the ATM machine, but were unsuccessful.

Investigators plan to go over security video to help identify the thieves.
