Tuesday, September 27, 2011

One suspect was arrested and another is still on the loose following a shooting that left a young child injured in South Philadelphia.

The shooting happened Sunday night on the 1600 block of South 18th Street.

Four people were left wounded including a 6-year-old girl, who was an innocent bystander. Authorities believe it was gang related.

Police tell Action News that 19-year-old Tyler Linder was arrested earlier Tuesday.

He is now facing several charges including attempted murder.

Philadelphia police are still searching for 17-year-old Charles "CJ" Rice, the second suspect in the shooting.

A $2500 reward is being offered for anyone with information that leads to Rice's capture.
