Brandy: Video Game Star

LOS ANGELES-January 26, 2006 -- The next Lara Croft is Brandy.

The Hollywood Reporter reports Brandy will star in a science fiction video game, which as of now has not been titled. She'll provide her voice and likeness to the game, and she'll help develop the story line.

She'll also record a soundtrack.

Director Matty Rich, who's helping create the game, says Brandy will play a strong female character who must react to situations with the fate of the world hinging on her actions.

The game is being developed for PlayStation Portable and will be out early next year.
