MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. (AP) - July 3, 2009 -- The funeral is set television product pitchman Billy Mays at a church in McKees Rocks, the tiny suburb where Mays was born and raised just down the Ohio river from Pittsburgh.
Billy Mays, 50, was found dead at his home in Tampa, Fla. on June 28, where a medical examiner says he likely died of a heart attack, though test results to confirm that are pending.
Mays shot commercials, the last for OxiClean, until a few days before his death. Known for his jet black hair and beard, Mays developed his yell-and-sell technique hawking products on Atlantic City's Boardwalk in 1983.
Mays funeral is scheduled Friday at 9:30 a.m.Get Action News on your website
