Madonna will direct another film

LOS ANGELES (AP) - February 16, 2010 -- Madonna is trying her hand at being a director again.

Variety reports she will direct a film called "W.E.," which is about King Edward the Eighth of England, who abdicated the throne to marry divorced American socialite Wallis Simpson.

Madonna is co-writing the script.

She directed her first film, "Filth and Wisdom," in 2008.
