Barbara Walters' annual list is making headlines again, Lindsay Lohan is back in court and Elizabeth Taylor's jewelry sets a record.

Barbara Walters' Most Fascinating People
Barbara Walters has chosen her 10 most fascinating people of the year. The highly anticipated special airs tonight. This time, Barbara gets 90 minutes to talk to the biggest movers and shakers, and not to mention drama makers. Action News' Shirleen Allicot got a chance to speak to her today about how she narrowed down the list.

Walters said anyone who had a big year, and a strong story to share would be considered.

There's Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson who play the gay couple on ABC's hit sitcom "Modern Family."

The often snarky Simon Cowell who shows Barbara his charming side, and not to mention his amazing home.

Herman Cain and reveals the real reason he bowed out of the presidential race.

Derek Jeter, Katy Perry, and Donald Trump all made the list.

And then there's TV's reality royalty, the Kardashians, whom Barbara acknowledged were a controversial choice. She also admitted they weren't the most cooperative either.

"With the Kardashians, we said, 'We're doing you very early, anything going to happen?' (They said,) 'No. No. Things are going to stay the same' Then Kim gets married, then Kourtney gets pregnant, then Khloe's moving to Dallas. But, 'No. No. Nothing's going to happen.'

"So I think... I've said this before but you just can't trust the Kardashians.'"

But apparently you can trust them with a secret.

Barbara's 10 Most Fascinating People airs tonight at 9:30 on 6abc.
