'Hills' star Lauren Conrad announces engagement

Lauren Conrad, former star of MTV's 'The Hills' and 'Laguna Beach' announced on her website on Sunday, Oct. 13, that she and boyfriend, law student William Tell, have become engaged after dating for more than a year. The fashion designer wrote to her fans on her website, "I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I am beyond thrilled!
