December 16, 2005 -- -Comedian Bill Cosby says the black community must take responsibility for its actions -- and not let teen pregnancies, drugs and a lack of education rule lives.
The remarks have raised eyebrows before, but have been praised by others as a breath of fresh air.
Cosby gave the keynote address last night at the 17th Annual Black Achievers in Business Awards at the Bank One Center on Wilmington's Riverfront.
Proceeds from the event will benefit young people who attend programs at the Walnut Street Y-M-C-A.
