Reading, Pennsylvania Jan. 13, 2006 (WPVI) -- The body of a pregnant woman was found in a burned-out rowhouse, and police are investigating the death as a homicide.
Miriam Acevedo, 36, of Cumru Township outside Reading, had been missing since Christmas Eve.
A man who saw her body Thursday night in the boarded-up house reported it to police about 6:30 p.m.
An autopsy was planned.
Acevedo's car was found at an apartment complex in Muhlenberg Township in early January.
Her family said she was about two months pregnant when she disappeared.
