TRENTON, NJ-March 14, 2006 (WPVI) -- An attempt to hold up a corner grocery in Trenton turned deadly... for one of the people who wanted to rob the place.
It happened at a corner grocery store in the 500 block of North Clinton Street around 11pm Monday.
The clerk told police a group of men tried to rob the store. One of them had a gun.
That's when the owner pulled out his own gun and shot one of the suspects. That suspect died. The other suspects fled.
