No Release for Winslow Plot Teens

Thursday, April 13, 2006

The four teens accused of plotting a Columbine-style massacre inside their high school lunch room will remain locked up for at least 3 more weeks.

A juvenile court judge made the ruling Thursday morning.

Police say they confessed to an elaborate plan to shoot up Winslow Township High School. They allegedly had a hit list with 25 names. Police say it was supposed to happen during a 4th period lunch.

Word of the alleged plot spread throughout the school. After the boys were brought in for questioning, police say they learned the boys had tried unsuccessfully to buy guns from 2 underground dealers in Sicklerville.

Last week a judge ruled they undergo psychiatric evaluations before being released to their parents. Some of those tests still have to be done.
