Friday, December 15, 2006

Authorities are accusing a teacher at North Hunterdon-Regional High School in New Jersey of sexually assaulting a female student at a Catholic school when she once coached.

Pamela Balogh coached Somerville, New Jersey's Immaculata High School to a string of basketball championships. Her 17-year-old accuser was a member of the team.

The girl claims Balogh assaulted her in the coach's office beginning in December 2004 until Balogh left in 2005.

Balogh coaches field hockey at North Hunterdon.

The 39-year-old Bethlehem, Pennsylvania resident and former Temple University standout is being held on 100-thousand dollars bail, charged with aggravated sexual assault.
