Penn Student Allegedly Opens Fire on Drexel Students

A University of Pennsylvania law student faces aggravated assault charges after allegedly firing 15 shots into the apartment of two Drexel University students.

The shooting happened inside an apartment building at 4239 Pine Street around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the Penn student, who lived on the second floor, got into an argument with 2 Drexel students, who lived on the first floor.

Police say the Penn student saw the Drexel students as a security threat to the U.S.

When the Penn student went to the apartment, police say he fired about 15 shots.

One of the Drexel students was inside, but not hurt.

The Penn student was later arrested and faces aggravated assault charges.
