Friday, March 02, 2007

A police officer was injured during an early morning accident in the Bustleton section of the city. And investigators are saying the driver that struck the cruiser was allegedly drunk.

It happened on the 96-hundred block of Veree Road around 2 am.

AID says the two cars collided, seriously injuring both drivers. Medics transported the accident victims to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital where the officer is said to be in guarded condition. We're told the officer does not remember the accident having suffered a severe concussion.
