Taxi involved in deadly accident

Saturday, March 15, 2008

A taxi struck two people, killing one of them, in Camden County.

The accident happened along the White Horse Pike shortly before 10:00 p.m. near the intersection of Mouldy Road.

Carolyn Dorsey, 46, of Barrington was killed. Forty-six-year old William Henry of Pennsauken was rushed to Cooper University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Investigators said it appears Dorsey and Henry crossed the street when on-coming traffic had a green light.

No charges are expected against the taxi driver, Wael Fawzi of Lindenwold.
