Police: Pizza Hut robbery inside job

According to the Glassboro Police, the robbery of a Pizza Hut late last Saturday night was an inside job.

Police say the robbery involved the manager and an employee.

Glassboro Police has charged 18-year-old Josue Torres with robbery, theft, and weapons possession.

Police have also charged the manager, 23-year-old Alexsandra Chappine of Sicklerville, New Jersey, with theft, conspiracy, to commit robbery, and conspiracy to theft.

Police have recovered the weapon.

Both suspects are being held on $150,000 bail.

At around 11:30 p.m. last Saturday night, authorities tell Action News that a gunman broke a glass door to the Pizza Hut on Delsea Drive and ordered several employees in the back and tied them up.

The gunman then took off with an undetermined amount of cash.

The employees were able to free themselves and call 911.
