Woman accused in sex-filled sleepover to stand trial

Tuesday, July 22, 2008

A Bucks County woman has been ordered to stand trial on charges that she sexually assaulted two teenage boys during a sleepover.

Angela Honeycutt is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault and corruption of minors. Prosecutors allege that the 38-year-old Lower Makefield woman exposed herself and had sexual contact with 14- and 15-year-old youths after a teen party at a friend's home.

As she left court, Honeycutt told reporters she wanted people "to wait until the end before they make or pass judgment."

The homeowner, 45-year-old Lynne Long-Higham, waived a preliminary hearing on charges of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.

Honeycutt was arrested back in April, along with her friend Long.
