Lightning blasts through NJ home

Lightning Near Miss

It is reported that there is heavy structural damage.

A bolt of lightning went crashing through a home in Westville, Gloucester County Tuesday night.

Around 10:30 lightning struck a tree and then hit the roof of the Cape Cod style home on the 100 block of Oak Lane.

The lightning bolt went through the roof, through the house and hit the living room floor.

It is reported that there is heavy structural damage.

No word on any injuries.
