DA: Teacher aid touched student

A teacher's aid at St. Eleanor's School in Collegeville, Pa., has been arrested after investigators say he sexually touched a student.

Arrested was Vito Granieri, who is employed by the school as an Information Technology teacher/aid. The Montgomery County D.A. says he substitutes for other teachers as needed and provides technical support for the school.

Granieri was arrested Friday and arraigned with bail set at $100,000.

He is charged with Indecent Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Corruption of Minors, Unlawful Communication with a Minor, Unlawful Restraint, and Harassment.

Special conditions of Granieri's bail include a no contact provisions with the child, the child's family, St. Eleanor's School, or other teachers at St. Eleanor's School.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 2nd.
