EAST LANSDOWNE - April 10, 2009 - (WPVI) -- Rescuers were called to 45 East Lewis Avenue in East Lansdowne, Pa. around 2:00 p.m. Friday for reports of a ruptured gas main.
Initial reports say construction crews hit the main while working in the area.
PECO is on the scene and has stopped the leak.
No one was evacuated, however there was a strong gas odor in the neighborhood.
