Supermarket evacuated due to fumes

Several medic units were called to a Delaware County supermarket after customers starting getting sick.

The incident happened at the Giant Supermarket on North Oak Avenue in Aldan, Pennsylvania at about 10:00 p.m.

Maintenance workers were reportedly on the store roof to clean the air supply system when people in the store were overcome by chemicals.

There is no word on injuries.

The store was evacuated.
