Suspicious device found

Chopper 6 HD was over the scene in South Philadelphia.

Police were called to a home in South Philadelphia where a suspicious device was found.

Authorities were called to vacant house located on the 2200 block of McClellan St.

There, police found a possible explosive device with a significant amount of ammunition.

Both the bomb squad and homeland security were called to the scene, but have since left.

According to police, they also found passports in the home.

Details remain sketchy while police investigate.
