Falling bricks damage cars in Center City

  

CENTER CITY - August 25, 2009 (WPVI) -- Several cars were damaged overnight when pieces of masonry fell off a Center City building.

No people were hit by the debris, which came off the 6th floor of a building at 11th and Chestnut Streets.

This is the third time in recent months that parts of bricks or concrete have fallen from Center City buildings.

Today the business district is circulating flyers reminding buildings owners about proper maintenance and the importance to have buildings thoroughly inspected.
