Bicyclist dies in N.J. crash

Chopper 6 flew over the scene in Logan Township along Route 322 after a bicyclist was killed in a collision with pickup truck.

A bicyclist was killed while riding along Route 322 early Wednesday morning.

A pickup truck and the bicyclist collided at about 6:15 a.m. It happened along the eastbound lanes of Route 322 near Route 130 in Logan Township.

Police say 51-year-old Anthony Hoffman, of Bridgeport, New Jersey, was riding his bike eastbound on the side of the road when he was struck.

Driver of the striking vehicle has been identified as Anthony Thorp of Sallerburg, Pennsylvania.

Hofffman was pronounced at the scene.

No charges filed just yet. The accident is under investigation.
