Man arrested after standoff at Aston home

ASTON, Pa. - October 13, 2009 (WPVI) -- Around 10:30 Tuesday morning Aston police were investigating a warrant issued out of Houston, Texas for a Jeffery Connolly, wanted for an aggravated assault from 2 weeks ago.

Officers drove by Connolly's parent's house on the 300 block of Highgrove Lane and found a Nissan Altima with Texas plates on the car.

Police have taken weapons off him in the past so they pulled back and called in the tactical team.

The man was taken into custody without incident.
