House collapses in Mantua

MANTUA - October 19, 2009 (WPVI) -- Authorities are on the scene of a house collapse in the Mantua section of Philadelphia.

The collapse happened at a home along the 3900 block of Fairmount Avenue.

One person was trapped on the third floor of the 3-story dwelling. Crews had a difficult time getting to the trapped person, however they were able to make the rescue with no injuries.

No one was transported to the hospital.
