BELLEFONTE, Del. (AP) - October 20, 2009 -- Delaware police have charged a Pennsylvania man with robbing and tying up an elderly couple, with help from an accomplice.
New Castle County police will charge 33-year-old Keith Czajka of Folsom once he's extradited. He's charged in Pennsylvania with unrelated offenses.
A New Castle County detective identified Czajka in surveillance video from a Dart Bus. The two men rode to the couple's house Oct. 8. After riding the bus, they entered the couple's home near Bellefonte, tied them to a chair and covered their heads.
Czajka, a family acquaintance of the victims, allegedly stole cash. Then, police say they drove away in the couple's car.
The detective contacted Czajka's family who said he might be in Upper Darby. Police there arrested him Monday.
