5 injured in two vehicle accident

Five people, including two children, were injured during a two vehicle accident in Greenville, Delaware.

It happened at Lancaster Pike and Hercules Road around 9:00 p.m. There a car and mini van collided in the midst of a heavy downpour.

Three adults and two children required medical attention. Two of the injuries are serious.

Police are trying to determine if the rain slicked roads were a factor.
