Police working to ID man hit by car

BEAR, Del. - November 3, 2009 (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are trying to identify an individual who was struck and killed by a car Monday evening.

Police say Karen Davis, 50, of Newark, was driving a 2000 Dodge Neon westbound on US 40 in the area of Rickey Blvd when the male victim attempted to cross the street but was hit.

The victim was taken to Christiana Hospital where he later died.
