Fire broke out inside a high-rise elderly community building in Atlantic City Wednesday morning.

The Atlantic City fire department was called out to the building at around 10:45 a.m., located on the 200 block of New Hampshire Avenue.

When they arrived they found heavy smoke coming from the 9th floor of the 14-story building and called for a second alarm.
