One killed in Mercer County fire

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. - November 4, 2009 (WPVI) -- One person is dead after a fire Wednesday afternoon in Mercer County, New Jersey.

It happend at a home in the unit block of Irving Court in Hamilton Township around 4:00 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and a report of someone trapped inside.

As it turned out, two people were inside. One was rescued, but the other did not survive.

There is no word on the cause of the fire.

The identities of those involved have not been released.
