Woman shot in Camden

CAMDEN - November 4, 2009 (WPVI) -- A woman is hospitalized after being shot in Camden City.

The shooting happened at Haddon Avenue and Sycamore Sreet in Camden City around 6:10 p.m..

A woman, believed to be in her 40's, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.

She was rushed to nearby Cooper Hospital where she is expected to recover from her injuries.

Police are investigating.
