Driver arrested after car slams into home

A car crashed into a Bucks County home overnight. The man behind the wheel was arrested at the scene.

The accident happened around 2:00 a.m. when the driver of the car lost control and slammed into the front of a house on the 100 block of Heartwood Drive in Middletown Township.

The driver was not seriously injured. However, police arrived on scene and took the man into custody. He is facing numerous charges including DUI.

The female occupant of the house was shaken up but not injured.
