Suspects loose after armored truck robbery

JENKINTOWN, Pa. - November 5, 2009 -- The FBI says three men robbed an armored car at gunpoint in suburban Philadelphia without even getting out of their getaway car.

FBI spokesman J.J. Klaver says three men in a minivan pulled up along side the armored car outside a TD Bank branch in Jenkintown around 9:40 Thursday morning.

Two men wearing masks, one brandishing a shotgun, opened a rear door and demanded the guard turn over the money bag he was carrying. The van fled toward Philadelphia with a third man driving.

Investigators say no shots were fired in the robbery and there were no injuries.
