FRANKFORD, Del. - November 10, 2009 (WPVI) -- Police in Delaware have arrested a 16-year-old and accused him of breaking into a state trooper's home and stealing jewelry plus the trooper's personal gun.
The burglary happened during the day Monday, according to police. Investigators say during the burglary, the bandit fired one shot into the wall before leaving.
Investigators say about an hour after the break-in, a state trooper stopped the suspect, Rajheem Johnson, 16, of Millsboro, while Johnson was riding his bike along Route 24. The trooper saw the stolen weapon in Johnson's pants waist.
Johnson is charged with burglary, theft of a firearm and criminal mischief.
