Suspect wanted for CVS theft in W. Phila

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - March 24, 2012 (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the man who they say stole an undisclosed amount of items from a CVS pharmacy in West Philadelphia.

It happened March 6 at the pharmacy on the 7200 block of City Avenue.

After putting several items into his coat, authorities say the man tried to walk out of the store.

An employee attempted to stop the suspect but was stuck several times. The suspect then fled on foot.

Police released this surveillance video of the incident hoping to generate tips.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'7"-5'8", with pale skin and light facial hair.
