2-alarm fire at commercial building in Tacony

TACONY - March 26, 2012 (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a 2-alarm fire outside a commercial building in the city's Tacony section Monday morning.

A Fire department spokesman tells Action News that a recycle-plant trailer caught fire shortly before 8:00 Monday morning.

Crews struck a second alarm shortly after arrival at the plant, located on the 7300 block of Milnor Street.

According to Chief Davison the fire was placed under control at 8:35.

The fire was contained to the Recycle Plant Trailer.

There were no injuries.
