Man arrested for woman's murder in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA - March 27, 2012 (WPVI) -- Police say they have arrested a man for a woman's murder in West Philadelphia.

Brandon Timmons, 22, of the 6100 block of West Columbia Avenue, has been arrested for the killing of Valerie Angeline, 31, of the 300 block of North 64th Street.

Police say Angeline was found inside her home on Saturday suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and stab wounds to the neck and chest.

Timmons has been charged with murder, abuse of a corpse and gun offenses.

Timmons has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 11th.
