5 injured in multi-car accident in Torresdale

PHILADELPHIA - April 1, 2012 (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police and medic units responded to a multi-vehicle accident in the Frankford section of Philadelphia Sunday night.

It happened in the 5200 block of Torresdale Avenue around 8:00pm.

Officials say at least five people were taken to area hospitals with what is being described as various injuries.

Three vehicles were involved. The accident is being investigating.
