GLEN MILLS, Pa. - May 1, 2012 (WPVI) -- One person was critically injured after the car they were in left the road and slammed into a tree in Glen Mills, Delaware County.
The accident happened around 12:00 p.m. Tuesday along Smithbridge Road, near Sleighride Road.
When police arrived they found that a vehicle lost control and hit a tree. Rescue crews were able to extricate a person trapped inside the vehicle.
The victim was flown to an area hospital in critical condition.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating what led to the crash.
