GREENWOOD, Del. - May 1, 2012 (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police announced an arrest in the murders of a husband and wife in Sussex County.
Michael Emory, 32, of Greenwood, was formally charged on Tuesday in the deaths of 76-year-old Harvey Cashwell and 66-year-old Carolyn Cashwell.
Police say Emory used to rent a home from the Cashwells but was evicted about six months ago.
The Cashwells were found dead in their Greenwood home on Thursday after concerned neighbors said they had not seen them or observed any activity since the previous weekend.
Troopers entered the home and found the couple dead inside.
Emory was taken into custody on Friday after, police say, he pawned a ring belonging to Carolyn Cashwell.
Emory is currently being held without bail.
