Woman, 92, found dead in Bridesburg house fire

PHILADELPHIA - May 20, 2012 (WPVI) -- Crews made a disturbing discovery while fighting a fire in the Bridesburg section Sunday night.

They responded to a house fire on the 2800 block of Hedley Street.

Firefighters knocked down the flames and got inside.

But while checking the rest of the house, they found the body of a 92 year old woman.

It is not yet clear if she died because of the fire.

The fire is under investigation.
